We have an exciting role of Lecturer within our Digital team!
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements for Level 1 to Level 3 Digital courses.
• Pastoral tutor to Level 2 learners.
• Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback to support progress and achievement.
• Monitor and record learner attendance, progress and achievement using college systems.
• Prepare learners for assessments, examinations and external verification.
• Maintain accurate course and assessment documentation in line with quality assurance requirements.
• Support learners’ academic and personal development, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Embed English, maths, digital skills, equality, diversity and safeguarding within teaching practice.
• Contribute to course review, self assessment and continuous improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
• Essential Degree in a Digital Subject
• Desirable Teaching Qualification
• Experience working in further education
