An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adaptable and creative individual to teach in our successful Health T-Level department!
You may have a strong background in teaching health and social care or perhaps looking to move into teaching from the health sector, whether this be from a nursing, mental health, or community health background. If this is the case, we would like to hear from you.
Here at Cirencester College, we run the adult nursing, mental health, and healthcare science pathways as part of our level three health suite. We also deliver our level two Foundation Health course to support learners into level three. Experience in one of these fields, or the willingness to teach across these pathways and levels, would be advantageous.
After excellent results in 2025, we want a highly motivated and student-centred practitioner to join our team and to contribute to the continued success of the department. Could you inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals to thrive and succeed?
There is also opportunity for the additional responsibility of being the course lead for the Foundation Health (level two) programme. This programme has moved from strength to strength and is a key contributor to the level three programme; supporting students to be level three ready and to excel within their placements on the T-level programme. If you are interested in this additional role, please view the job description, and make this known in the cover letter of your application.
The role entails:
- Teaching to a high standard and developing student’s skills and confidence to succeed.
- Working collaboratively with an experienced health team.
- Working with our work experience team and employers to ensure that students get the most from placements.
- Playing a full role as a member of the Faculty and College community
- Providing pastoral support for students if your role includes being a personal tutor
Candidates should have a commitment to post compulsory education at FE and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning.
