Lecturer in Art and Design

As a Lecturer in Art and Design, you will plan and deliver inspiring lessons, create inclusive resources, and support learners in developing confidence, independence, and strong creative skills. You will cultivate a positive and respectful classroom and studio environment, tailor your teaching to individual needs, and use meaningful assessment and feedback to help students track and understand their progress. Collaboration with colleagues, commitment to ongoing professional development, and active contribution to the College’s quality, safeguarding, equality, and sustainability initiatives are central to the role. Additionally, you will guide learners toward future study and career pathways while participating in the wider life of the College.

About You

·       Strong practical skills across a range of art and design disciplines.
·       Teaching qualification (PGCE, DTLLS or Cert Ed), or willingness to work towards one.
·       Level 3 qualification or equivalent in an arts-related subject.
·       Confident using Adobe Creative Suite and related software.
