Lecturer in Digital Media

In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that inspire creativity and curiosity, developing inclusive and accessible learning resources that meet the needs of a diverse student cohort and foster a positive environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to reach their full potential. You will tailor your teaching to individual learner needs, using insightful assessment strategies to track progress, provide constructive feedback, and help students understand how their studies connect to real-world opportunities, including higher education, employment, and career pathways. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate proactively with colleagues to cultivate a professional, forward-thinking team culture, engage in continuous professional development, and contribute to the College’s quality assurance, safeguarding, equality, and progression initiatives, ensuring all students receive the highest standard of education and support.

About You

·       Understanding of the UK moving‑image industry and entry routes for new talent.
·       Degree in Media, Film or a related subject.
·       Teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
·       Confident using Adobe Premiere Pro.
·       Good practical knowledge of cameras.
·       Comfortable teaching across a range of levels.
