About this Role
As a Lecturer in Games Design, you’ll play a key role in inspiring creative talent within our friendly and experienced Computing team. You’ll deliver Level 3 BTEC programmes, with opportunities to teach on higher education courses, including a top‑up degree, depending on your experience. No teaching experience is required – we’ll fully support you to achieve your teaching qualification and develop your confidence in the classroom. Through practical, industry‑relevant projects, you’ll help learners build strong technical skills and develop assessed portfolios that reflect current creative media practice.
About You
Strong, up to date knowledge of your specialist subject area.
Relevant industry experience and a passion for sharing your expertise.
A teaching qualification (PGCE, DTTLS or Certificate in Education) or a willingness to work towards one.
GCSE English and maths at Grade C or Level 2 equivalent.
Willingness to complete Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding training.
