Salary: £27,400 £40,000 per annum

Think FE are working with a well-established, community-focused further education college in Gloucestershire, recognised for its inclusive learning environment, strong employer partnerships, and commitment to student progression. Due to continued growth within their Health and Social Care provision, they are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer to teach Level 2 and Level 3 Social Care programmes across three campuses.

This is a permanent opportunity, with flexibility to consider temporary arrangements for candidates who are immediately available.

The Role
You will deliver engaging and industry-informed teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care programmes, supporting learners to develop both academic knowledge and practical understanding relevant to the sector.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Health and Social Care at Levels 2 and 3
• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across three campuses
• Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
• Embedding safeguarding, equality and diversity principles into teaching
• Supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes and progression

Interviews will be held on 16th March, so applicants must be available on this date.

What We re Looking For
Minimum requirements:

• Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care (or closely related subjects) at Levels 2 and 3
• A recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE) or willingness to work towards one
• A Health and Social Care qualification to at least degree level
• Willingness to undertake Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding training

Desirable:

• Nursing or relevant clinical experience

This role would suit an experienced lecturer or a clinical professional looking to transition into further education.
