Leisure Assistant (Casual)

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Leisure Assistant (Casual) to work in the Leisure Centre at Dean Close Kingham Hill School. This is a zero-hours position, with shifts confirmed by the Leisure Coordinator as required.
As a Leisure Assistant, you will work as part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality sport, leisure, and event services to our customers. You will provide professional lifeguarding cover and excellent customer service to pupils, paying members, and visitors.
Other duties may include:
- Set up and dismantle equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, in line with the programme schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to ensure safe operation and adherence to safety standards.
- Follow all operating procedures and ensure compliance at all times.
- Handle enquiries, process bookings, raise invoices, take payments, and complete administrative tasks using booking software, in accordance with school and GDPR policies.
- Support the day-to-day running of the Leisure and Sports Centre, including cleaning, safety checks, stock control, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Undertake training to maintain Lifeguarding certification and complete any additional training required by the School.
