Applications are invited for the position of a Hydrotherapy Pool Receptionist to work term time only
(with an additional week for in-service training). We are looking for a committed, reliable, organised
individual who will be able to meet, greet and direct our swimmers and their parents to the pool
area for their lessons. There will be multiple swimming sessions during each shift, and the candidate
will need to ensure those finishing lessons leave promptly and those arriving follow the guidelines to
be ready for their sessions.

You will need to sign the parents in and out and deal with any queries which may arise.

At the end of each shift bins will need to be emptied, floors mopped, and touch points sanitised.

There are some cleaning duties for the reception area to ensure it remains clean and tidy.

The
swimming classes will be run by third parties who provide swimming lessons for babies, toddlers,
school aged children and some more senior swimmers. They will not be our school students.

St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students
from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our
students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex
health needs.

St Rose’s is an inspiring, stimulating and rewarding place to work, where new challenges abound.
We have a strong commitment to supporting staff in continuing their professional development, and
we offer many ways to achieve this. Our staff enjoy a strong sense of community and professional
support, as well as a lively and cheerful environment to work in. In addition, there are many other
benefits for staff including a central Stroud location with easy access to buses and trains, on-site
parking, attractive grounds, low-cost lunches and subsidised nursery places.

Candidates will require an enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to taking up
the post. Applications should be made by application form only.

CVs will not be accepted.
