Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:00, Fri 08:00-15:30) Term Time only plus 2 INSET days.

Are you passionate about fostering a lifelong love for reading and learning? We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised School Librarian to manage and develop our inclusive, welcoming school library service. Reporting directly to our Senior Leader for Whole School Literacy & Reading, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our curriculum, promoting reading for pleasure, and developing students’ information and digital literacy skills. This is a dynamic role where you won't just manage books, you will collaborate directly with faculties, deliver targeted literacy intervention programmes, and create a purposeful, safe, and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including cataloguing, stock collection development, and budget management.
Partner with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum and guide students in using digital research tools.
Deliver planned literacy intervention programmes, track student progress, and organise engaging book displays and reading events.
Ensure equitable access to resources for all students while upholding a strict commitment to safeguarding.
