Land and Asset Mapping Officer
Bishop’s Cleeve, Gloucestershire
About the Role
There are lots of changes occurring in Local Government at present, and some of these will affect Bishop’s Cleeve. As such, in preparation for these changes, the Council is looking to record and map all of its land and other assets, which you would undertake as part of this role.
The postholder will also be responsible for keeping the Council’s Notice Boards updated and undertake some Health & Safety checks of the Council’s facilities, for which a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
You would be part of a team of five other members of office staff and three part time caretakers, who all work together to support and provide services for the community of Bishop’s Cleeve
Working Hours
The post is for 16 hours per week for an initial 12 month period. The working hours would be Monday and Wednesday between 9am and 3pm and Friday 9am – 1pm.
Job requirements
You need to have a team spirit, be flexible in your approach, have excellent IT skills including experience of computer software as mapping will be electronic, be able to work on own initiative and have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for which mileage will be paid for business travel.

Salary: £28,142 - £29,064 pro rata
