An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Manager to join a growing and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Gloucestershire.
This role offers far more than just accounts production. As an Accounts Manager, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, manage a varied portfolio of clients, and enjoy clear long-term career progression within a supportive team.
Working closely with a range of businesses, including clients within the agricultural sector, you'll play a key role in building strong relationships, providing high-quality accounts and tax services, and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients.
Role and duties of an Accounts Manager:

Managing your own portfolio of clients

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts

Personal and business tax work, including corporation tax and VAT

Managing deadlines, workflow and budgets

Attending client meetings and building strong relationships

Supporting, coaching and mentoring junior staff

Working with clients across a range of sectors, with agricultural experience desirable
Supporting the development of processes and systems
The successful Accounts Manager will be:

ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent
-
Experienced within accountancy practice
-
Technically strong across accounts and tax
-
Confident managing client relationships
-
Organised, proactive and commercially minded
- Keen to progress and support the development of others
All relevant experience will be considered, and we encourage anyone with a strong background in practice accounting to apply. Agricultural experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 Annual +
Hours Per Week: Full Time
