Civil Site Manager

Location: South Gloucestershire, Bristol

Type: Contract 7 Months

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to support our client

Essential Skills:

Must have experience as a Civils PCSM on Grid projects, with certifications including NSI 6 & 8, HSG47 for Substations, Lifting Supervisor, and Manual Handling.

Description:

• Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work.
• Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements.
• Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions, Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings.
• Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work.
• Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with the contractors, client and internal staff.
• Attend weekly progress meetings.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project
• Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labor including a site dairy
• Desirable to already hold SSE authorization of minimum CAT1C.
