M&E Site Manager (Electrical Bias)

We are recruiting for an experienced M&E Site Manager to join a major industrial engineering project in Bristol.

This role has a strong electrical focus, supporting the Project Manager with the successful delivery of electrical and MEICA installation works across a large-scale wastewater treatment site. We're looking for someone with a practical site background who can drive quality, coordinate subcontractors and oversee testing and commissioning activities.

The Role

Working alongside the Project Manager, you will support the day-to-day delivery of the M&E package, with a particular focus on the electrical works.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Project Manager with the delivery of electrical and MEICA installation works.
  • Managing and coordinating electrical subcontractors and site teams.
  • Reviewing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspections and quality documentation.
  • Coordinating electrical testing, commissioning and client witness activities.
  • Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
  • Carrying out site inspections and resolving technical issues.
  • Reviewing RAMS and ensuring safe systems of work are followed.
  • Working closely with engineers, commissioning teams and the client throughout project delivery.

You'll ideally have:

  • A strong electrical background within industrial or process environments.
  • Experience managing electrical installation works on site.
  • Knowledge of ITPs, QA processes, testing and commissioning.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and driving programme delivery.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to support the Project Manager in the day-to-day running of the project.

Ideally you'll hold:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS/ECS Card
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (18th Edition, NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • First Aid
