Location:
Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Hours:
45 hours per week (flexibility to work shifts as required to meet business demands)

Salary:
60,000 - 65,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager

  • Lead and manage the Maintenance Team to ensure the smooth running of all production and site equipment.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex machinery faults to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, and compliance documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.
  • Manage contractors and external service providers as required.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards in line with company policies.


Key Skills of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager

  • Proven experience in multi-skilled maintenance, ideally within an FMCG or fast-moving production environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
  • Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating workloads.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shift coverage as business needs require.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment.
