Description
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide tailored tax advice to clients, addressing their unique financial needs.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Advise on tax planning opportunities to optimise client outcomes.
- Assist in the development and mentoring of junior team members.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.
- Support the wider tax team in achieving departmental goals.
Profile
A successful Personal Tax Assistant Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA).
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax legislation and compliance.
- Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively within a professional services environment.
