On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Technical Project Manager for a 12 month contract based in Bristol.
Job description - the role
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will lead engineering tasks within the Naval Controls Systems engineering team covering a number of engineering product change tasks ensuring adequate planning, resourcing and timely delivery.
What are we looking for
- Successful track record within an Engineering Technical Project Management environment
- Ability to lead complex engineering projects
- Full project life cycle experience
- Demonstrated history of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Knowledge of either mechanical or electrical engineering product lines would be highly welcomed
- Supplier management exposure: end/end
- Appreciation of the engineering design process would be advantageous
- A degree from any engineering discipline
- Soft skills: Good verbal and communication skills, well organised, adaptable, ability to work under pressure, etc.
