Production Operative (Food Manufacturing)

About the role:
This is a hands-on, full-time production operative role in our bakery. You’ll be directly involved in preparing, baking and finishing our cakes, biscuits and brownies, helping us maintain high standards and consistency across every batch, in a clean, well-organised factory. No weekend work is required, but optional overtime is available when required and paid at time and at a half-enhanced rate.
What you’ll be doing:
- Following recipes and production instructions accurately
- Preparing, baking and finishing our cakes, biscuits and brownies
- Measuring, weighing and labelling ingredients, and checking they’re within date
- Working on the packing line, ensuring products are ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic work environment at all times
- Following correct food handling practices and keeping records up to date where needed
- This role involves regularly lifting and carrying items as part of daily duties.
- Completing all relevant training as required and picking up new tasks as you grow
What you bring:
- Production operative experience in a busy production environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, quality and hygiene
- Ability to work methodically and efficiently while maintaining high standards
- A good attitude and willingness to get stuck in

Working arrangements: Shift times available:
- Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm;
- Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm ;
- Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm. Fully onsite.

Salary: £12.75 per hour, monthly pay (overtime paid at time and a half)
