Experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Confident using hand tools and specialist equipment
Able to complete manufacturing and traceability documentation accurately
Nice to have’s
Soldering, wiring or crimping experience
Aerospace, defence or electronics industry experience
Knowledge of IPC620 standards
So, what will you be doing?
Assembling high-precision electronic and mechanical components
Wiring, crimping and soldering products using engineering drawings
Building assemblies using hand tools and specialist equipment
Carrying out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards are met
Completing manufacturing and traceability documentation accurately
Working on highly sensitive components used within aerospace and defence applications
