Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00–17:00 and Saturday 07:30–13:00

We are now looking for a reliable and proactive Waste Operative to support day-to-day operations at our busy Gloucester site.
Role Overview:
As Assistant Washplant Operative, you will play an essential part in keeping the site and plant running smoothly. You will be responsible for supporting the supervisor maintaining a safe and efficient plant, ensuring the site remains clean, organised, and compliant with environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the Wash Plant, ensuring maximum production and minimising down time
- Ensuring products produced meet specification standards
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the site
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Conduct daily checks on equipment, PPE and tools
- Communicate professionally with drivers, colleagues, and site staff
- Report any hazards, issues, or non-compliance to the management team
About You:
- Previous experience operating crushers, screens and aggregate washing plants is an advantage
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- Good work ethic and a proactive, team-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
