Production Operative

Our client who is a national manufacturer and distributor throughout the country are looking for a Production Operative to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis in Sharpness, Berkeley in order to support them through their very busy period.
The likely duration would be up to 6 months; however this could be extended depending on the business needs.
To be able to access their site, you will need to be able to drive as there isnt any local public transportation.
Key Responsibilities;
- Product to be filled into the correct bags
- Product is packed correctly and professionally
- Take samples of finished products and store in a safe place for collection
- To ensure bag markings are correct and to a clear and legible standard
- Check weigh bagged finished product regularly
- Take responsibility for the daily upkeep of the area in which you will be carrying out normal duties
- To have the ability assist in any of the roles within the factory in the event of staff shortages
- Operate on a staggered rest break system if during busy seasonal periods
- Each operator to take responsibility for the daily cleaning of the equipment
- To carry out all duties and tasks prescribed in an efficient and professional manner

Hours; Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm with 1 hour break
Salary; £13 per hour, potential for over time at a rate of time and a half + 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata) + Life Assurance + Lifestyle Benefits and Discounts
