Production Operative
Tewkesbury
Production Operative required in Tewkesbury, earning £13.11 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours worked. This role offers a Temp to Perm opportunity after 12 weeks, providing the chance to secure a permanent position with a well-established food manufacturing business.
Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting on behalf of our client for Production Operatives to join their busy production facility in Tewkesbury. The Role As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.
Your duties may include:
- Operating and monitoring machinery across production lines.
- Preparing products and materials ready for production.
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
- Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Reporting faults or production issues to supervisors.
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Following food safety, quality, and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
- Supporting other departments when required.
What We're Looking For We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who:
- Have previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, or food production experience, although full training is provided.
- Can work efficiently in a busy production environment.
- Have strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
- Are reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Are comfortable with manual handling and a physically active role.
- Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts as required.
Hours of Work
- 37.5 hours per week
- Overtime available depending on business requirements
- Start times varies between 06:00 - 14:00
Pay Rate
- £13.11 per hour
- Overtime paid after 40 hours worked
