Marketing & Fundraising Co-ordinator


Office based, Tewkesbury

To develop and deliver an integrated sales, marketing, and fundraising strategy that drives brand growth, revenue, and supporter engagement. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, this role will lead creative campaigns, content creation, and fundraising initiatives that raise awareness and enable the organisation to achieve its mission and income goals.

Main Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage the overall sales, marketing, and fundraising plan aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Create and oversee content calendars, campaign timelines, and social media strategies.
  • Lead the creation of engaging marketing and fundraising content, including copywriting, visuals, and video storytelling.
  • Plan and coordinate creative campaigns, PR activities, fundraising appeals, and events to maximise reach and income.
  • Collaborate closely with schools, community groups, funding partners, and internal teams to ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
  • Analyse campaign and fundraising data to monitor performance and inform continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies involved in marketing and fundraising activities.
  • Ensure all communications reflect the organisation’s brand voice, values, and mission consistently.


Person Specification

Knowledge and Understanding

  • Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, and fundraising principles and best practices.
  • Understanding of charity sector fundraising and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, with particular expertise in social media channels and how to leverage them for brand awareness and engagement.
  • Understanding of data analysis and performance metrics relevant to marketing and fundraising, including how to use insights to optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with content marketing principles, storytelling techniques, and audience segmentation to create targeted, compelling campaigns.
  • Awareness of branding principles and the importance of maintaining a consistent organisational voice across all communications.

Experience

  • Experience in sales, marketing, and fundraising roles, preferably in charity, education, or community sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns that grow reach, engagement, and income.
  • Experience in content creation across various media, including social platforms, email, and events.
  • Experience managing fundraising appeals, events, or donor engagement initiatives.
  • Experience analysing campaign data and using insights to optimise performance.


Qualifications

  • Relevant marketing, communications, or fundraising qualifications.
