Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter in the Aerospace and Mechanical Sector!
Join a leading company in the Aerospace and Mechanical Sector as a Mechanical Fitter. If you have experience in mechanical fitting or assembly, we want to hear from you!
Location: Stroud
Working Hours: 07:30-1630, Monday to Thursday (early finish on Fridays)
Salary: £30,000-£36,000
Benefits: Monthly performance bonuses
As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a crucial role in producing company products to high standards, following detailed instructions from drawings and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sub-assembly production fitting and final assembly tasks.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components.
- Assist in building fabricated assemblies from scratch, utilising various skills.
- Strictly adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policies.
- Undertake any other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Engineering background with experience in an engineering role.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Attention to detail and strong teamwork ethic.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Verify assemblies for alignment, dimensions, and quality.
- Experience in vehicle fabricating/fitting is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or related industries advantageous.
