The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a forward-thinking building services consultancy that specialises in sustainable and technically challenging projects.
Recently relocating into a fresh new office space, the consultancy continues to grow its reputation for delivering innovative mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across commercial, heritage, arts, education, and residential developments.
You will play a key role in project delivery while working closely with senior engineers, architects, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mechanical designs for building services projects.
- Produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with architects and external consultants.
- Attend client and design meetings.
- Support sustainable and low-energy building design strategies.
- Undertake site inspections and surveys.
- Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- Previous consultancy experience within building services.
- Understanding of UK building regulations and standards.
- Experience using industry design software.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
- Passion for sustainable engineering solutions.

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 Annual + Benefits
Hours Per Week: Full Time
