Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE per annum
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Orion Electrotech are working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. And we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who has experience working with Inventor 3D.
Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design of aircraft refuelling vehicles and equipment
- Creation of engineering proposals
- Creation of tender documentation
- BOM creation
- 2D & 3D CAD design using Inventor
- Stake holder management
- Client liaison
- Cradle to grave project management
Mechanical Design Engineer Required Experience:
- Minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in a design role in a fast-paced manufacturing company
- Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor& Autodesk Vault
- Understanding of sheet metal, fabrication GD&T and fluid dynamics
- Understanding and experience designing pneumatics and hydraulics
- Experience creating BOM and component selection
