The Company

An established and growing engineering business, part of a larger international group, specialising in high-performance products for harsh and demanding environments.

The Role

A hands-on position offering full product lifecycle involvement from concept through to production, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products from concept to manufacture
• Produce and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
• Design components and tooling
• Support prototype development, testing and validation
• Maintain and update engineering documentation
• Ensure compliance with standards and specifications
• Assist with inspection and testing of components

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Approximately 3+ years in a design engineering role
• Experience delivering products through the full lifecycle
• Proficient in CAD (ideally SolidWorks)
• Experience with prototyping and testing
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Desirable

• Basic coding knowledge
• Experience with ERP or engineering systems
