Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working)
We are representing a small consultancy in Bristol known for its technical expertise and strong client relationships. They are looking for an experienced Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer who is motivated, ambitious, and ready to take ownership of projects from feasibility through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience leading and supervising teams, and a proven ability to deliver projects in a variety of sectors. Role Overview
The successful candidate will have a client-facing, technical role, working independently to manage and deliver projects. You will also supervise the work of others on your projects, ensuring all deliverables meet the required quality standards. You should be able to take projects forward efficiently, work autonomously, and be proactive in representing the business to clients.
The business is focused on finding the right person for the role and is willing to offer a competitive salary to ensure they secure the best candidate. The salary for this position is up to £60k+, depending on experience and suitability.

Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
A relevant engineering degree (Building Services Engineering preferred)
7+ years of experience in Building Services Engineering in the UK
Proven ability to lead projects from feasibility through to completion
Experience in supervising the work of others and managing project teams
Strong understanding of mechanical design and calculation methodologies
Experience with mechanical calculation software H2X is a plus
Chartered with a relevant body - or working towards this
A UK driving licence and access to a car (for site visits, meetings, and surveys)
