  • Contribute to the development and refinement of safe systems of work and operating procedures
  • Support implementation of health, safety and environmental procedures on site

  • Strong practical mechanical experience (industrial, agricultural, processing, quarrying, food/feed, biomass or similar)
  • Experience operating or maintaining plant, processing or materials-handling equipment
  • Confident working with hydraulic machinery
  • Forklift experience would be an advantage (training or refresher certification can be provided)
  • Practical understanding of safe working practices in an industrial environment
  • Flexible, pragmatic approach to supporting plant operations
  • Hands-on, methodical approach with good mechanical awareness
  • Comfortable working in a small team and taking ownership of equipment

Formal qualifications are not essential — experience, judgement and attitude matter more than certificates.
