The Role - Product Process Engineer r
We are seeking an experienced Product and Process Engineering professional to join a prominent aerospace engineering business for a 6-month contract to support growth.
You will be responsible for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware, predominantly centered around hydraulics.
Duties - Product Process Engineer
* Writing or maintaining Assembly Instructions and Production Worksheets.
* Developing mitigation actions identified in PFMEA.
* Developing processes to increase yield and reduce risk of failure.
* Identifying tooling requirements needed in assembly and test environment.
* Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
* Support product and process changes.
* Collate build and performance data.
* Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.
Background - Product Process Engineer
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
* Core experience in Mechanical Engineering
* Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
* Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
