Part time – 9am to 4:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly
Pay - £33.02 per hour
Temporary Contract – 1 month
We are seeking a passionate Lecturer in Music to deliver engaging, hands-on teaching across BTEC Level 2 & 3 Music Production. This role blends industry insight with practical studio skills, bringing real-world music production into the classroom.
The Role
- Teach and assess music production and/or performance at FE and/or undergraduate (BA) level
- Support students’ creative, technical, and academic development
- Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to departmental activities and events
Essential Requirements
- BA in Music (Performance or Production)
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching music in an education or training setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Industry experience in performance and/or music production
- Confident use of DAWs, studio equipment, and music technology
