Gloucestershire Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers is seeking applications for the post of Adult Advice Team Manager

Location: GARAS drop-in centre, Gloucester
Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days, plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)
Period of Notice: 3 months, on either side

About GARAS

GARAS provides support, advocacy, and integration services for refugees and asylum seekers
in Gloucestershire. We offer assistance with legal matters, access to essential services, arrange
language support & other dynamic initiatives, to help individuals and families build a new life
with dignity and security.

Job Summary

If you're an experienced manager with a background in immigration advice, GARAS wants to
hear from you. As a leading immigration charity in Gloucestershire, we're looking for someone to
lead our Adult Advice Team, guiding staff and volunteers as they support asylum seekers and
refugees across the county.

Sitting on our Senior Management Team, you'll help shape how GARAS delivers its services,
making sure the advice we offer stays true to what we stand for as an organisation.

We're a medium-sized, ambitious charity, and this role would suit someone who thrives on
responsibility and wants to see their leadership make a tangible difference to people's lives. You
will line manage all members of the Adult Advice Team, so sound judgement, resilience and
genuine warmth in your management style will be essential.

This role is based on-site at GARAS premises and will require an Enhanced DBS check.
