Assistant Production Team Leader Night Shift
Bristol £29,000 £33,000 DOE + Night Shift Premium Sunday Thursday, 10pm 6am
We re looking for an ambitious Assistant Production Team Leader to for a growing food manufacturing business in Bristol.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Operator, Supervisor or Team Leader who is ready to take the next step and develop towards running their own team.
Working alongside our current Night Shift Team Leader, you ll help manage a small team, providing support and stepping up to lead the team when required. You ll also have opportunities to provide cover for other Team Leaders, giving you valuable experience across the wider production operation.
The Role
- Support and deputise for the Night Shift Team Leader.
- Lead and motivate the production team to achieve output, quality and safety standards.
- Provide Team Leader cover during holidays and absence.
- Work closely with Engineering to resolve machinery and production issues.
- Assist with basic fault-finding and problem-solving.
- Maintain food safety, quality, health & safety and housekeeping standards.
- Support training, development and continuous improvement.
About You
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment.
- Previous experience supervising or leading people.
- Ambitious and keen to progress into a Team Leader role.
- Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
- Engineering/mechanical/technical experience would be a strong advantage.
- FLT trained bendy or counter balance
- Reliable and comfortable working independently on a night shift.
- Able to reliably commute to our Bristol site for 10pm starts and 6am finishes.

Salary: £29,000 to £33,000 Annual + Excellent Benefits
