Manufacturing Shift Leader
Permanent - Full-Time - Days - Monday-Friday - 40 Hours
Are you a Manufacturing supervisor, experienced in 'hands-on' leadership, driving performance and developing talent within a precision machining environment, looking for an exciting next step in your career?
The Role:
* The primary duties include taking ownership of the manufacturing plan
* Hands-On leader, overseeing manufacturing and production processes
* Responsible for the day to day running of the shift
* Ensuring production is delivered on time and to specification
* People Management skills, actively leading and nurturing talent
* Striving to reduce expenses and increase productively
* Supporting continuous improvement activities
* Implementing all the companies' policies and procedures
* Communicating any problems or obstacles to Senior Management
* Monitoring productivity rate, standards, and quality control
* Ensuring health and safety culture is maintained
The Person:
* 4+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
* Skilled machinist able to program using Fanuc controls
* Proven ability prioritising to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
* Computer literate - experience with manufacturing systems and reporting
* Strong communication skills
* Experience working in AS9100 environment, formal training or management qualification, formal safety training/qualification - Desirable
