The Role - Production Team Leader
We have an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join a prominent manufacturing business in the Tewkesbury area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people manager who is passionate about safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
You'll deputise for the Production Manager, and be responsible for leading day-to-day production activities, driving KPI performance, developing your team, and ensuring products are delivered effectively.
Duties - Production Team Leader
* Support factory planning activities.
* Oversee a team of circa 15 operators.
* Deputise for the Production Manager when required.
* Ensure production KPIs and achieved.
* Create solutions to production challenges and bottlenecks.
* Plan labour requirements and proactively address resourcing concerns.
* Ensure daily production output is accurately recorded and reported.
* Carry out appraisals and performance reviews.
* Lead root cause analysis activities.
* Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
* Ensure compliance with customer, quality, and industry standards.
Background - Production Team Leader
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven leadership or line management experience.
* Strong understanding of health and safety
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and lead teams effectively.
* Continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.
