Experienced CNC Miller Setter / Operator – 4 Nights per week

Elite Extrusion Die Ltd design and manufacture extrusion dies and other tooling for the aluminium extrusion profile industry.

Established in 1986, we are an expanding company with a worldwide customer base.
We are situated minutes away from M5 J11A and central to Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setter / Operator to join our busy team of Extrusion Die Specialists. The role will cover various tasks.  No programming is required in this role. Must have a minimum of six months recent experience of setting and operating CNC Mills or CNC Lathes.

Duties include: -

• CNC Milling of extrusion steel die blanks to supplied drawings and programs
• Use of various Machining Centres, Doosan, Matchmaker, all with FANUC controls
• Loading of parts, programs, cutters.
• Inspection of parts
• Use of measuring equipment

You must be able to follow and retain instructions, work methodically, read and understand engineering drawings. Accurately measure and check parts. Candidates must be fit & healthy, self-motivated and once fully trained, be able to work without supervision and as part of the team.

Overtime: at X1.5 rate

Hours Per Week: 39

*Night Shift: Monday – Wednesday, 2030-0700, Thursday 2030-0600. 

Salary: £18-20 per hour *includes shift allowance

Holidays: 5 weeks/year plus bank holidays (some reserved for Christmas)
