CNC Setter / Operator
Cheltenham
Position : CNC setter (AM shift)
Location: Cheltenham
Type of work: Permanent
Salary : £32,000 inclusive of shift allowance
Hours of work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Start time and finish times: 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday | 6am to 12pm Fridays
We are now seeking multiple CNC setters to work for an Engineering manufacturing company based in Cheltenham. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.
Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating for CNC machines with Fanuc controls
* Working to technical engineering drawings
* Working with aluminium, stainless, steel
* Ability to use measuring tools
* Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.
Requirement:
* Ideally previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling or lathes machines with Fanuc controls
* Ability to change tools, and adjust offsets
* Ability to use measuring tools
* Ability to work AM shift.
