CNC Setter/Operator
Cheltenham
Position : CNC setter (PM shift)
Location: Cheltenham
Type of work: permanent
Salary : £36,434 inclusive of shift allowance
Hours of work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
Start time and finish times: 14:00 - 23:30 (Monday to Thursday)
We are now seeking multiple CNC setters to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Cheltenham. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.
Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls
* Working on technical engineering drawings
* Working with aluminium and stainless steel
* Ability to use measuring tools
* Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.
Requirement:
* Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling or lathes machines with Fanuc controls
* Ability to change tools and adjust offsets
* Ability to use measuring tools
* Ability to work the PM shift.
