Machine Operator

Position: Machine Operator
Location: Dursley
Pay rate: £14.44 per hour
Working hours: Weekly rotation of Earlies 05:30- 13:45 (12:30 on Friday) and Lates 14:00- 23:00 (13:00- 17:00 on Friday)
A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their spinning department. The position is full time on double day shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will join the spinning department, operating high-speed machines and ensuring all products meet pre-determined specifications. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to high-quality textile production.
Key Responsibilities - Machine Operator
* Operate and manage a variety of machines
* Conduct quality control checks and maintain production standards
* Log and report any issues with sub-standard products or machinery
* Maintain an organised and tidy work environment
* Adapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications & Requirements - Machine Operator
* At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
* Organised, proactive and able to work efficiently under time pressures
