CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Quedgeley
Pay Range: £37,000 inclusive of shift allowance
Contract Type: Perm - Double Days
Working hours : week 1 6:00 m to 02:00 pm Monday to Friday and week 2 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Early finish on Friday 11:00 am on AM shift and 7:00 pm on PM shift
My client, a well-established specialist in precision manufacturing, is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to support the production of high-quality components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business supplying precision part across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities - CNC Machinist
* Set and operate 3 and 4 axis CNC milling machines with Haas controls to manufacture precision components
* Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and written instructions
* Use inspection and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances
* Self-inspect components to maintain quality standards
* Accurately complete relevant documentation and production records
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Qualifications & Requirements - CNC Machinist
* Previous experience setting and operating CNC machines (any control system as training will be provided on HAAS)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Flexible approach to shift working patterns, ability to work rotating AM and PM shift
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good timekeeping and housekeeping
