Personal Assistant to COO

Our client, a prestigious heritage site with a long-standing community presence in the city of Hereford, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to join their team on a temporary full-time basis due to a recent restructuring of their team. This is a dynamic role focused on high-level administrative coordination to enable members of the senior leadership team to fulfil their duties effectively and efficiently.
The successful Personal Assistant should have:
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, alongside emotional intelligence
·Proven experience in meeting servicing and administration, including accurate and confidential minute taking
·Excellent organisational and diary management skills
·Understanding of safeguarding compliance and a track record of working with confidential information with discretion
·A minimum of 2 years administrative or secretarial experience within a complex organisational structure or large-scale company
In this role, the Personal Assistant will be responsible for:
·Managing senior leader's diary (meeting, duties, travel), acting as primary contact, and assisting with official correspondence and drafting of papers/reports
·Providing administrative assistance for meetings, travel arrangements, and expense claims as necessary
·Giving logistical and secretarial support as required for various company committees and working groups, including scheduling, room booking, invitations, agenda distribution, room setup, and refreshments
·Ensuring accurate filing and archiving of administrative papers
Our client is offering the successful Personal Assistant a salary in the region of £14.50-16.50 an hour dependent on experience plus holiday pay. This is a temporary full-time post of 3-4 months at 35 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 with occasional out of hours work in evenings or at weekends.
