Job description:

Established in 1997, an award-winning Early Years setting has an opportunity for an experienced cook with a passion for creating wholesome, healthy and inviting meals for children. Our busy setting is looking for someone passionate about food and nutrition for young children, with experience providing a balanced menu that meets the requirements for children aged 3 months to 4 years.

The right candidate will be organised, efficient, and responsible for ordering food, managing cleaning schedules, and, of course, adhering to the Safer Food, Better Business protocols.

Our setting has boasted a 5-star rating for the last 15 years, and we would like to uphold that standard.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to join our amazing team and bring fresh and new ideas. We would welcome candidates who want to get fully involved in developing what we offer as a setting.

Experience in being a responsible cook for children is required. The role is 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 2.30 pm (with flexibility), year-round, except bank holidays and Christmas closure. You will be working alongside a dedicated assistant chef.
