Finance Officer

Must Have’s
- 4+ years' experience in finance or accounting roles
- Proven responsibility for preparing management accounts and financial processes
- Strong understanding of payroll support and VAT returns
- Solid grasp of prepayments, accruals, and bank reconciliations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
Nice to Have’s
- Hands-on experience using Xero accounting software
- Experience supporting audit processes and maintaining company registers
- Familiarity with financial setup for new entities (HMRC, ledgers, banking)
- Experience working across multiple legal entities or business divisions
So, what will you be doing?
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate financial records including AP/AR
- Process journal entries including prepayments and accruals
- Manage inter-company invoicing, loan accounts, and recharging
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any financial discrepancies
- Assist in preparing VAT returns and support monthly payroll functions
- Support financial onboarding of new business entities
