Customer Service Advisor needed in Gloucester, Salary: £28,000 Pro Rata, Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 Months), Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, Office Based.
Fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business during a busy peak trading period, providing exceptional customer service and support to customers across multiple channels.
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for 2 Customer Service Advisors to join a busy customer service team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role will play a key part in supporting the business through a peak trading period, ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient and positive experience.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, resolving issues and maintaining excellent levels of customer service while working closely with colleagues across the business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally
- Process customer requests and update internal systems accurately
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Escalate complex issues where required
- Ensure customers are kept informed throughout the resolution process
- Support the wider customer service team during peak trading periods
- Contribute to a positive and customer-focused working environment
About You
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident handling customer enquiries and resolving issues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Positive, proactive and professional approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and committed throughout the duration of the assignment
