Janitor

Job Summary:

General maintenance of church and hall buildings.

This could include, but is not limited to:  

• Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order  
• Weekly fire alarm testing  
• Minor plumbing and carpentry  
• Meter readings, Setting boiler timers
• Shifting furniture or equipment (Setting up for activities)  
• Footpath maintenance
• Painting
• Clearing gutters  
• Changing filters or cleaning radiators  
• Ensuring windows and doors are locked etc

Salary & Benefits:

6 Hours per week basic,

Living Wage (currently £12.60 per hour) + pro rata holidays

Flexible, with potential for additional hours.
