Product Compliance Specialist
Cheltenham
We are looking for a Product Compliance Specialist to work alongside the Compliance Manager to support the Design & Production team with product development, oversee product testing, factory audit tracking and associated follow up work related to the above.
You will work with the Factories, Material Suppliers, and internal staff across departments daily.
Your primary responsibilities will include helping to set up/ maintain protocols & manuals, tracking 3rd party testing and factory audits, as well as creating and managing compliance declaration documents.
Part-time & full-time applicants considered.
The role is based in our Cheltenham studio.
Potential for flexible working hours with core hours if required.
Key Responsibilities - to support the current Compliance Manager with the following:-
• Work alongside designers and artworkers to advise on compliance for new upcoming product areas
• Setting up / maintaining protocols & manuals.
• Tracking and maintenance of 3rd party testing, including quote confirmation.
• Communicating with overseas factories & testing laboratories to resolve any test issues & to maintain product timelines.
• Communicating with production and design team to help risk assess new products upfront, proactively preventing any potential test issues from occurring where possible & also to help to resolve any test issues may arise.
• Collating and submitting as required to external partners - testing documentation, certificates of compliance, or other compliance related documents as requested.
• Extended Producer Responsibility (to help scope upcoming EPR requirements for products & packaging and to work with production team to request the information required for submission.)

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential for this role.
Experience / Qualifications
• Experience of carrying out compliance tasks for a wide breadth of product types
• Knowledge of global regulations / legislations and labelling requirements
• Must have the ability to communicate and interface in a positive & professional manner with factories and teammates.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
• Salary dependent on experience.
