The Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic development projects. Working alongside experienced planners, you'll support clients throughout the planning process while developing your technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
- Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals.
- Preparing planning statements, reports and supporting documentation.
- Liaising with local authorities, consultants and clients.
- Supporting senior team members on a broad range of planning projects.
- Attending client meetings, site visits and public consultations where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated graduate who is eager to build a successful career in planning.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree (or postgraduate qualification) accredited by the RTPI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
