Wealth Planner

Wealth Planner

Gloucestershire

Wealth Planner, Cheltenham. c£80,000 + Excellent Bonus & Benefits

We are partnering with a highly regarded wealth management firm to recruit a Wealth Planner into their Cheltenham office. This is a business with a strong, established culture where people tend to stay for the long term. Good people, no politics, and a genuine commitment to doing things properly.

There are no new business targets, no expectation to build your own client book, and no BD pressure. Clients are won and managed by the Investment Managers and the Wealth Planner's role is to provide expert technical financial planning advice to support those relationships as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong planner who wants to do great work in a well-run, low-pressure environment and be well rewarded for it.

The role:

  • Provide technical wealth planning advice to support Investment Managers and their clients in Cheltenham and Bristol
  • Deliver holistic financial planning across pensions, investments, tax planning, protection and estate planning
  • Accompany Investment Managers to client meetings, networking events and BD meetings in a supporting capacity
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a growing regional team
  • Build strong internal relationships with Investment Managers across the business

To apply:

  • Level 4 qualified (Chartered or progressing towards a distinct advantage)
  • Experienced in delivering high-quality technical financial planning advice
  • Comfortable operating in a support-focused role without direct client ownership
  • Experience working alongside or in support of Investment Managers advantageous
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without close supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted internal relationships
  • A genuine team player who will embrace being part of a wider, growing business
