The role

You will lead our property acquisition efforts to source suitable properties across the Cotswolds and surrounding areas for our service. This is a large geography that spans urban locations such as Oxford, Cheltenham, Stratford Upon Avon, Bath as well as all of the rural locations and villages in between.

This is a proactive outbound BD role requiring you to build a strong network with local estate agents,
suppliers, partners, owners and anyone who could be a source of quality homes to join the Red Kite portfolio. This a varied role that suits a motivated individual who wants to join an early stage business where your impact is felt every single day and where you can grow with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Fully responsible for self-generating your own leads, managing your sales pipeline to deliver results and sales targets.
  • Identify and source new clients through a multi-channel approach: networking  and developing relationships with estate agents and other key suppliers such as housekeepers, accountants, mortgage advisors, maintenance contractors etc to generate referrals.
  • Use the latest insights, trends and data to generate achievable revenue estimates to new property owners and and sell the value and opportunities that our service bring.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners - acting as a trusting and reliable partner.
  • Be an ambassador for the company and passionately sell the business to potential new owners and partners.
  • Organise visits to meet owners at properties to further build trust and showcase the value of using our service.
  • Work closely with our Onboarding Lead to agree timelines of delivery and making properties go live.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns to drive leads and awareness of our brand in the region.

Requirements

  • Min 2-3 years experience in a sales capacity, preferably in an outbound environment.
  • A genuine passion for providing great service and going the extra mile.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personable - you love meeting new people and building long lasting relationships.
  • Self-starter - motivated by personal and business growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - willing to test new ideas and be creative in your approach.
  • Excellent time management skills - well organised, can prioritise quickly and effortlessly.
  • Positive approach to life and work - we are a “can-do” team.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • Must have own car for travelling across the region for meetings.
  • Love travelling, the Airbnb/holiday let industry and the Cotswolds!

Desirables

  • Have experience in a similar role securing and developing new business sales within the UK based Tourism & Travel industry OR holiday lettings.
  • OR have experience in other travel industry sectors within sales, business development or account management or as retail travel branch managers.
  • OR experience in estate agency sales, especially within residential lets / lettings having held roles such as Lettings Manager, Lettings Negotiator or Estate Agency Branch Manager.
  • OR have been an area sales manager / field sales / regional sales manager / business development manager from within other sectors.

  • Uncapped commission structure.

Salary: Basic salary of £30-35k pa + OTE earnings of £40-45k+ (dependant on experience)
