Experienced Bar staff

About Us:

Longlevens Rugby Club is a vibrant community hub known for its friendly atmosphere and dedication to the sport. We host a variety of events, from match days to social gatherings, and we're looking for enthusiastic, experienced bar staff to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service to all members and non-members.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area.
- Restock and manage bar inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar before and after events.
- Assist in kitchen when required.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a bartender or bar staff.
- Ability to work at least 2 weekends a month.
- Availability for weekday evening shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of bar equipment and drink mixing.

Desirable Skills:

- Knowledge of alcoholic drinks.
- Experience in a similar role within a sports club or similar environment.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
