Must have’s

• Proven experience in retail buying – ideally within homeware, kitchenware, or a similar category
• Strong commercial mindset – able to balance creativity with strategy
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
• Confident analysing data to inform buying and pricing decisions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
   

Nice to have’s

• Experience working with international suppliers (China and/or Europe)
• A passion for cooking, homeware, or interior trends
• Experience developing own-label products
• Knowledge of sustainability or ethical sourcing principles
   

So what will you be doing?

• Selecting, developing, and managing product ranges
• Analysing sales trends to identify opportunities for growth
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best commercial terms
• Collaborating with internal teams (design, merchandising, marketing) to deliver cohesive product launches
• Ensuring product quality, value, and innovation align with brand standards
• Travelling for sourcing and supplier visits (China and Europe)
